Batteries harmonised standard Implementing Decision: EV battery performance and durability EN 18060:2025

Implementing decision adopted under Article 10(6) of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 on European standardisation that publishes in the Official Journal the reference of EN 18060:2025 (Road vehicles - Rechargeable batteries with internal energy storage - Performance and durability of alkali-ion (Li-ion, Na-ion), Pb, NiMH and combined chemistries EV modules and batteries), drafted by CEN under standardisation request C(2021)8614; it is the first harmonised standard under the Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and is listed without restrictions. Batteries conforming to it are presumed to conform, under Article 15, with the Batteries Regulation requirements it covers (such as Article 10 performance and durability). Published in the OJ and in force on 2026-09-16.
