Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) Annex I Product List Amendment

This Delegated Regulation amends the list of relevant commodities and relevant products in Annex I to the EUDR. It adds 17 product entries, mainly palm oil-derived chemicals (alcohols, acids, esters, soaps, etc. under HS headings 2905, 2915, 2916, 2921, 2923, 2924, 3401, 3823, 3824 and 3907), frozen bovine tongues (HS 0206 21 00) and instant coffee and coffee extracts (HS 2101 11 00). It also removes raw bovine and equine hides and skins and leather (ex 4101, ex 4104, ex 4107), conveyor and transmission belts (ex 4010), articles of vulcanised rubber (ex 4016) and soya beans for sowing (HS 1201). In addition, it clarifies that waste, second-hand goods, samples, packaging, promotional material and correspondence, as well as palm oil derivatives in medicinal products, are outside the scope.
