MiFID II Delegated Regulation: Sustainability Preferences
This Regulation amends Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/565 to integrate sustainability factors, sustainability risks and clients' sustainability preferences into certain organisational requirements and operating conditions for investment firms. It requires investment firms to take sustainability risks into account as part of their risk management policies, and requires providers of investment advice and portfolio management services to consider clients' sustainability preferences when recommending financial instruments, in order to prevent greenwashing and maintain a high level of investor protection.
